With a song as awesome as Never Been a Moment, of course I have two favorite parts! I love how Micah Tyler describes God’s love here. I have definitely experienced these characteristics of God’s love in my life.

Here’s the link again so you can listen again. You obviously want to!

Story time! I first heard this song on the way home from a Bible study this spring. I was in the car with a couple friends and the song came on the radio. I immediately fell in love with it. That’s where it all began. Just like with Jordan Feliz, after hearing this song I decided to look up the artist and listen to all of their music. I probably should have started with this edit, since it’s the first Micah Tyler song I heard, but here it is now. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Listen to the song in all its glory here!

Introducing Micah Tyler

Posted on Updated on

I would like to introduce you to a Christian artist that I stumbled upon earlier this year. I really enjoy his music, and I want to give you the chance to, as well. Micah Tyler is a singer, songwriter, and musician who is fairly new on the scene. Before becoming a singer, he was a youth pastor who also drove a sausage delivery truck in Texas. He felt God calling him to the music industry, and he replied,

“I don’t know how to be a professional musician, but you’ve taught me to be faithful.”

He says his music comes from the heart, and describes his songs as “battle-tested.”

He released an album in 2013 called The Story I Tell. The next year, he released an EP called The Kitchen Sink. His most recent music is from Different, the EP he released at the end of last year. Some of his songs have been in faith-based movies, and his hit single Never Been A Moment peaked at #6 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs. Micah Tyler is currently on tour as the opening act for Big Daddy Weave.

As I often do when I find an artist I like, I will be sharing edits of my favorite lyrics from his songs. I will put links to each song as I post. His music is available on iTunes and Spotify. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think!
